Jeff introduced the new game to Geoff, saying that it will “elevate you to new heights, submerge you to new depths, and maybe even challenge you to control chaos.” He also said “world premiere” in a very hammy, Jeff Goldblum sort of way.

The trailer featured Goldblum, with the beloved actor saying that we “played with genetics like it was a toy” while dinosaurs soared and strutted around a forested locale. At the end, there was a shot of an undersea dinosaur, something that was not present in the original Jurassic World Evolution. Before coming to a close, the trailer noted that Evolution 2 will be out in 2021, which despite feeling like a seamless continuation of 2020, is in fact this year.

The game’s Steam page includes more details, noting that this one will contain an original story “set after the Earth-shattering events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,” which will see you work alongside Goldblum’s character, among others. There will also be new options that will allow you to “construct and customize new buildings and flex your managerial muscle across never-before-seen locations ranging from dense forests to rocky deserts.” Meanwhile, Goldblum actually hinted at the coolest-sounding feature: Chaos Theory, a mode that lets you live out what-if scenarios from Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies.
